Robert Duboff

Rob is CEO and a founder of HawkPartners, a management and marketing consultancy focused on Fortune 1000 brands.  Rob has consulted leading companies across virtually all industries during his 30-year career.

From 1999-2001, Rob served as Ernst & Young’s Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for all marketing activities of the $4 billion enterprise. He also chaired the firm’s Global Marketing Operating Committee.

Prior to that, Rob was a Vice President and Board member of Mercer Management Consulting. During his 20 years with the firm, Rob helped launch Mercer’s marketing and market research practice, and led this unit for more than a decade.

Rob co-authored the book, Market Research Matters (Wiley, 2000) and wrote ROI for Marketing: Balancing Accountability with Long-Term Needs for the ANA in 2007. He has also written for such publications as Harvard Business Review (September 2007), Marketing Management, The Advertiser, Across the Board, and Leadership & Strategy. In May 2002 and 2003, he chaired the AMA’s first two Marketing Strategy Conferences. Rob is a past-chair of the Board of Directors for the Advertising Research Foundation on which he served for two terms. He is an experienced moderator and teacher who has taught at MIT’s Sloan School, Boston University, Northeastern, and Boston College.

Rob received a B.A. from Amherst College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Dr. Stuart Agres, Ph.D.

Stuart runs Adduce International Corporation, a marketing and brand consultancy.  From 1993-2002, he served as Director of Corporate Research for the Young & Rubicam company (Y&R), where he was responsible for research innovation, research technology, and specialized research for all Y&R companies and their clients, both domestically and internationally.  In this capacity he designed, launched and ran BrandAsset Valuator, still the most comprehensive worldwide study of brands.

Prior to joining Y&R, he held senior positions at Adolph Coors Company, Leo Burnett Advertising and the Interpublic Group.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the New York Chapter of the American Marketing Association, the Advertising Research Foundation, and as a Trustee for the Marketing Science Institute. He is an active member of the American Psychological Association and has been a frequent lecturer at universities and professional association meetings and is co-author of the text: Emotion in Advertising: Theoretical and Practical Explorations.

He holds Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Psychology from Michigan State University and a B.S. from the Illinois Institute of Technology

Gary Lorenz

Gary held a variety of senior positions inside Wells Fargo between 1985 and 2007, most recently serving as President of Wells Fargo Auto Finance, a unit with 5,500 employees in 49 states and $29 billion in assets.  As President, he directed portfolio growth in excess of 1,000% over six years, and he acquired and successfully integrated 12 companies.  Prior roles inside the bank include mergers and acquisitions, regional management of retail operations, sales, marketing and business unit turnarounds.  He is an expert in consumer specialty lending and retail finance.

He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Auto Finance Board, Vehicle Finance Board, and Dealer Track.

He holds business and accounting degrees from Hawkeye Institute of Technology and the University of Northern Iowa

Edward Beaumont

Ed provides management, strategy and technology consulting to Fortune 500 firms, and he is an investor in and mentor to early stage companies.  Ed co-founded and served as CEO of CoreTech Consulting Group from 1992-2001.  CoreTech specializes in assisting large companies evaluate and apply advanced technologies.  During this time, CoreTech grew its revenues to over $50 million, absent any third party financing, and was named a Deloitte Fast 50 company.  CoreTech was exited in 2001. 

Prior to co-founding CoreTech, he spent 20 years in the banking industry with First Pennsylvania Bank and its successors.   He held senior leadership roles in retail bank operations, commercial banking, investment banking and information technology. 

He serves on the Dean’s Executive Board for the Drexel University College of Information Science and Technology and has taught graduate level courses at Penn State and Drexel Universities.  He serves or has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards as well.  He was awarded Drexel’s Outstanding Alumni award in 1992.

Ed holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Temple University and an M.S. in Information Systems from Drexel University.
